CEO of Jaguar Land Rover, Geoff Polites Dies

Mr Polites had been battling a serious illness for the past 2 years and passed away peacefully in his sleep.

His career spanned almost 40 years in the automotive industry, and after being appointed Chief Executive Officer of Jaguar Land Rover in 2005, was the driving force in restoring the business to profitability. Most recently he successfully steered the business through its sale to Tata motors.
